 Speaking to Daily Trust in Abuja yesterday, Soja alleged that the state governor had abandoned members of the party, courting PDP members and awarding them contracts with other privileges at the expense of founding members of the party in the state.
 “The people who struggled to form the party and bring in the ANPP government have now been abandoned to their fate. The governor is only busy enticing PDP members to join the party as decampees while he abandons us,” he said.
 He also accused the former Zamfara State governor, Senator Ahmed Sani Yarima, of working against the interest of the party as well as its presidential candidate, in the state.
He called on the party’s national leadership to keep a close watch on Zamfara State as the election approaches so as to right the wrongs when necessary.
Soja who expressed optimism that Buhari would win the presidential election in the state, however expressed concern about other elective positions in the state.
