The Yoruba Council Worldwide, has asked Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, to intervene in the installation of Prince Mufutau Olusesan Yusuf as Aladegunshebi of Odorangunshin Land, Epe, Lagos.

THE YCW made the appeal in a letter to Sanwo-Olu by its President, Aare Oladotun Hassan.

The letter, dated March 7, 2024, was titled, “Urgent Appeal for Immediate Action.”

It read in part: “With sublime respect and utmost commitment to equitable justice, the apex leadership of the Yoruba Council Worldwide is aghast and concerned over the perennial crises affecting the installation of the rightful qualified person: Prince Mufutau Olusesan Yusuf Aaladegunshebi of Odorangunshin Land, Epe, Lagos, on whose behalf we appeal through your good office for onward swift action, due diligent investigation and onward peaceful resolution accordingly.

“Based on this premise, we are aware that Prince Mufutau Olusesan was granted Certificate of Selection on the 19th July, 2018 by the ILENLA QUARTERS OF THE ODORANGUNSHIN being the next in line of rotation to ascend to the throne of his fore fathers.”
