The Anambra State House of Assembly Committee on Education has warned teachers who seek transfer outside the local government they are employed to teach to retrace their steps.

It described the act as unhealthy to the education sector, assuring that the state government would always provide all the learning facilities needed in nursery and primary schools .

The Deputy Chairman of the committee, Dr. Timoty Ifedioramma said during a visit to the Local Government Education Authority in Ukpor that the visit was to arrest the factors inhibiting the progress of education in public schools in the area.
