Youth Minister doesn’t understand her responsibilities, says Tinubu’s supporter

A member of the Tinubu Support Organization (TSO) and Spokesperson of the group, Hon. Franklin Ebere Njoku, has urged President Bola Tinubu to review the activities of the Minister of Youth Development, Jamila Ibrahim Bio.

Njoku in a statement at the just concluded strategie meeting of the #TinubAndNigerianMustSuceeedInitiative (TNMSI) blamed most of the recent outrage by youths in the country on the lesser style of Jamila.

He said the Minister had failed in her mandate to directly communicate and engage the Nigerian youths properly and actively.

He made emphasis on the recent Endbadgovernance protest which led to several political and economic setbacks. He recalled that prior to the protest, efforts made by youth groups and channelled through the office of Minister of Youths were all ignored, especially in such sensitive times.

“The so called #EndBadGovernance protest that threatened the corporate existence of our country could have been avoided if the Minister took proactive public measures, by actively engaging the young people/ organisers in the capacity of her office and not waiting for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to do the work for her.

“The Minister could have done way more then she did if she really understood the responsibilities and duty of her office at a time Nigerian youths craved her indulgence the most.

“As the Minister of Youth, her office requires her to continuously fraternize with leadership of top youth organisations, engage face to face with young people across the country to reconcile their plights and advise government effectively.”

Recall that TSO played a significant role towards the victory of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the 2023 presidential polls.

According to Njoku, TSO will do everything to ensure that the Tinubu led administration succeeds for a better Nigeria.
