The minister of state of youths’ development, Ayodele Olawande, has called on philanthropists and other entities to complement efforts of government in feeding the less privileged in the Holy Month of Ramadan.
He stated this over the weekend in Abuja during the flag-off of the distribution of food items to students, people living with disabilities and youths in the Federal Capital territory.

He said “the distributions will commence in FCT, Lagos and other states of the country with the intention to feed 100,000 households of four persons under the City Boy movement and will be shared among different interest groups with strategic committees put in place to ensure that the items get to people that need them,”
Also speaking, the Student Union Government (SUG) |President of the FCT College of Education, Zuba, Muniratu Mohammed, said the gesture was commendable as students in the school are finding it difficult to feed and break their fast-during Ramadan.
