A statement personally signed by Daniel and made available to newsmen said since assuming office, Olawande has been relentless in championing initiatives that empower young people, foster innovation, and align with the federal government’s Renewed Hope Agenda.

According to the PR expert, the minister’s leadership is marked by transformative projects that not only address the immediate challenges faced by Nigerian youth but also pave the way for long-term sustainable growth and national integration.

He said one of Olawande’s recent landmark achievements is his active involvement in the commissioning of the NYSC Digital Museum of Dynamic History and Television Studio, inaugurated by First Lady Senator Oluremi Tinubu on January 23, 2025, in Abuja.

“This cutting-edge initiative serves as a repository of the rich legacy of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), offering a virtual experience that captures the contributions of corps members across various sectors.

“The digital museum not only preserves the NYSC’s illustrious history but also provides an interactive platform for research, learning, and engagement. This project underscores Olawande’s dedication to leveraging technology as a tool for fostering national unity and promoting Nigeria’s rich cultural heritage. His support for this initiative highlights his recognition of the importance of history in shaping the aspirations of the country’s youth,” the statement said.

He said under Olawande’s leadership, the Ministry had launched multiple Youth Innovation Hubs across the country.

These hubs, he said serve as incubation centers where young entrepreneurs can access mentorship, funding opportunities, and training in fields such as technology, agriculture, and digital marketing. “To date, over 500 startups have received critical support, creating thousands of jobs and enhancing economic participation,” he said.

He said the initiative aligns with his vision to transition Nigerian youth from job seekers to job creators, addressing the high unemployment rate through skill development and entrepreneurship. “His pragmatic approach has been widely applauded for its focus on practical and sustainable empowerment strategies,” the expert argued.

The statement added: “Olawande has also revitalized the Skill Acquisition and Entrepreneurship Development (SAED) Program within the NYSC framework. Recognizing the importance of equipping corps members with employable skills, he has worked closely with the private sector to provide funding and resources for top-performing participants.
