Nigerian youths have been charged to continuously seek knowledge through training opportunities as this would equip them in becoming self reliant and employers of labour.
This advice was given recently after 35 Solar Panel and Inverter Installation Technicians graduated following a three weeks intensive training by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Oshodi-Isolo local government area of Lagos.
The Chairman of the LG, Otunba Kehinde Oloyede further advised them to ensure the youths put the training to practice as he handed them their certificates and start up training tools.
Coordinator of the UNDP, Mr Afeez Adesanya disclosed that over 2,000 youths have graduated from different vocational and technical skills at the UNDP training centre in the past one year.
