YSFON under-age tourney begins in Kogi

The tournament which was officially kicked off at the Confluence Stadium, Lokoja in Kogi State attracted 12 states and four of the youth Arm Forces teams namely, The Nigeria Army team, Naval, Air Force and the Police team all of their School teams respectively.

State competing in the Boys U-14 category are Kaduna, Edo, Abia, Kano, Borno, Bauchi, Akwa Ibom and Osun States, as well as the four arm Forces teams.

In the Girls category are Kaduna, Borno, Oyo, Ogun, Adamawa, Akwa Ibom and Enugu and the forces teams. The tournament will come to a close on the 17th of March, 2011 at the same venue.

In his message the President YSFON, Alhaji Jamiu Tunde Ojulari, has commended the sponsor of the tournament saying and charged all participating teams to be of good conduct both on and off the field of play as they stand to be the future of the country.
