Since the abrogation of the dichotomy, how has the life of the average Niger Deltan improved? The Federal Government has been pumping money into the region, but some select few are stealing it. Unfortunately the ordinary Niger Deltans see nothing wrong with their thieving leaders and opportunistic militants.

Therefore, as far as I’m concerned, abrogation of onshore and offshore is useless because it has failed to address the problem in question. Man, naturally, is greedy. So, even if the whole oil money will be given to Niger Delta they will ask for more. Perhaps, they will even demand tax from northern states. So Yuguda should think twice.
