The FCT Security Committee, on Tuesday in Abuja, assured the residents of the Federal Capital Territory of the safety of their lives and property during and after the yuletide season.
A statement by Muhammad Sule, FCTA’s Director, Information and Communication, said the committee disclosed that adequate security arrangements had been made to ensure that residents had pleasurable Christmas and New Year celebrations.

The committee urged the security operatives to intensify surveillance in and around the territory to ensure that all forms of crime and criminality are nipped in the bud.
City & Crime reports that the meeting was presided over by the FCT Permanent Secretary, Mr Olusade Adesola, on behalf of the FCT Minister, Malam Muhammad Bello, who is the chairman of the committee.
