A human resource development firm, ITM Services Limited, has provided succour to over 91 people living with disabilities, drawn from various communities in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja.

Cash gifts and various food items were given to the PWDs to facilitate a merry yuletide season.

Briefing newsmen shortly after the event on Wednesday, the Country Manager, ITM, Bukola Oyinlola-Anuwe, said the philanthropic gesture was part of the firm’s corporate social responsibility adding that such should be imbibed by other private organisations.

“We’ve done different segments of our corporate social responsibility. This year being the festive period, we decided to reach out to persons with disabilities.

“A total of 91 persons were in attendance and we were able to give something little. We are still a growing organisation but we felt like no matter how little we are, we need to start from somewhere before we begin to give trailers and loads of rice.

“We would say that this is a little token from our hearts and we wish everyone a merry Christmas and Happy New year,” she said.
