Yusuf Buhari, son of former President Muhammadu Buhari, has paid a glowing tribute to his mother, Hajiya Aisha Buhari, highlighting her enduring love and care.
The heartfelt message was accompanied by a photograph showing a tender family moment ahead of the Eid-el-Kabir festivities.
In the image, Yusuf is seen dressed in a white richly embroidered agbada and matching white turban, while his mother, clad in a blue gown and black headscarf, carefully adjusts his attire.
Reflecting on the moment, the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for Daura/Sandamu/Mai’adua Federal Constituency of the House of Representatives, said the gesture reminded him that a mother’s concern and affection never fade, regardless of her children’s age or status.

“Yesterday, as I was about to step out, my mother was busy helping me perfect my dress, making sure everything was just right. No matter how old we get, a mother’s care, attention and love remain unmatched,” he wrote.
He expressed appreciation for his mother’s “constant presence, support and attention to even the smallest details.
“Thank you, Mummy, for always being there, for the little things that mean so much, and for the endless love and support,” Yusuf added.
He also offered prayers for her wellbeing, asking Allah to bless her with good health and a long life.
The message resonated with many social media users as families across Nigeria marked the Eid-el-Kabir celebrations.
The period is traditionally associated with gratitude, sacrifice and the strengthening of family bonds.
The post offered a rare glimpse into a personal family moment.
It also underscored the enduring role the former first lady still plays in the lives of their children, irrespective of age.
Yusuf is the only male child of the late president.
