Zinox Technologies has entered into a strategic partnership with TD Africa aimed at expanding the reach of locally manufactured technology products and strengthening Africa’s digital ecosystem.
The partnership, unveiled at a formal launch attended by industry stakeholders and members of the media, positions TD Africa as the sole distributor of Zinox’s entire product range.
Speaking at the event, the Coordinating Managing Director of TD Africa, Mrs Chioma Chimere, described the collaboration as a significant step in advancing the company’s mission of making technology accessible and relevant across Africa.
She said TD Africa was established to empower individuals and businesses through innovation and that partnering with an indigenous manufacturer aligns with that vision.
According to her, foreign technology vendors often struggle to understand the peculiar realities of the African market, particularly issues such as unstable power supply and environmental conditions.

“For us to find a company that is indigenously African, producing products suited for African people, is a dream come true,” she said.

Chimere cited products such as rechargeable fans, microwaves, inverters and batteries, noting that they are designed to address challenges such as frequent power outages and voltage fluctuations. She added that the products are competitively priced and tailored to local needs.

She assured customers that Zinox products would be available nationwide through TD Africa’s distribution network.

“It does not matter what state you are in, you will find a Zinox product there. We make products available and accessible,” she said.

In her address, the Executive Director of Zinox Technologies, Ms Chioma Nwoke, said the partnership represents a strategic alignment between manufacturing capability and distribution strength.

She noted that Zinox was founded on the vision that Africa should not only consume technology but also design, build and scale it.

“At Zinox, we believe technology is only powerful when it is accessible, relevant and locally engineered to solve real problems,” she said.

Nwoke explained that while innovation remains central to the company’s operations, effective distribution is essential for impact. She said TD Africa’s channel network and logistics infrastructure would enable wider penetration of Zinox products across enterprise, government, education and small and medium-scale business segments.

She identified improved market access, operational scale and strengthened market confidence in African technology brands as key dimensions of the partnership.
