ZTE to provide communications facilities for NRC

A statement from ZTE said the company would work with the project contractor China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation (CCECC) to provide communications systems in order to speed up the railway modernisation in Nigeria.
CCECC has been charged with building a double-track standard-gauge railway from Lagos in the south to Kano in the north of Nigeria.
The total length of this railway is 1,315 kilometers and will be the first standard railway constructed by a Chinese company in Nigeria, and will be the first modern railway in Nigeria.
ZTE will provide information and communications system equipment and debugging and commissioning services for this project, ensuring the smooth operation of the modern railway.
