Borno State Governor Babagana Umara Zulum has distributed 36,000 50kg bags of assorted grains provided by the federal government to support resettled communities and vulnerable families.
The distribution, which took place yesterday in Pulka town, Gwoza LGA, saw 10,000 residents each receive a 50kg bag of grain.
Governor Zulum expressed gratitude to the federal government for its timely support.
He also announced the distribution of N220 million to 22,000 vulnerable women and widows in Pulka ward, with each receiving N10,000 in cash and a wrapper.
