Residents of communities around the Zungeru Hydro-Electric Power Dam in Niger State have lamented the attacks they face at from bandits.
The residents also said Zungeru town and Wushishi, the headquarters of Wushishi LGA, had become vulnerable to bandits’ attacks.
They said the construction of the Zungeru dam had further exposed them to banditry attacks because the river that denied bandits access to their communities had dried up due to construction works.
