United States based Nigerian filmmaker and girl-child activist, Zuriel Oyewole showed 165 youths from underprivileged backgrounds, in a private screening, her new movie, ‘Follow the Ball’.

This took place in the Civic Centre in Lagos. The youths and children were treated to a fun talk session and a simplified basic film making rudiment session by Zuriel. 

The program was rounded off by a dance competition and the winners were presented with new footwear, courtesy of Zuriel’s friends at KEEXs. The invitation only premier for the film held on August 17 in Abuja, at the Hilton Hotel. The film which is produced, scored, and edited by Zuriel, was shot across three continents in five countries, during the 2014 FIFA World Cup. The countries are Brazil, Ethiopia, Nigeria, Mauritius and the USA.

Zuriel, founder of Dream Up, Speak Up, Stand Up, Girl-Child initiative, has interviewed many presidents and is  the youngest person to be interviewed by Forbes Magazine.
