’Yan Majalisa Dokokin kasar Ghana sun kada kuri’ar amincewa da cire hukuncin kisa daga cikin dokokin kasar a makon nan.

Sun kuma bayyana matakin a matsayin nasara ga kasashen yankin Afirka ta Yamma.

Yawancin ’yan majalisar dai sun kada kuri’a a ranar Talata don zartas da wani kuduri na yin kwaskwarima ga kundin laifukan kasar, wanda zai maye gurbin hukuncin – wanda galibi ake aiwatarwa ta hanyar rataya ko harbe mutum.

Mataimakin Shugaban Masu Rinjaye na majalisar, Alexander Kwamina Afenyo-Markin ya shaida wa kamfanin dillancin labaran Ghana, mallakin gwamnatin kasar, bayan da aka zartar da kudurin dokar cewa, “A yau, Majalisar Dokokin Ghana ta yi alfahari da matakin da ta dauka.”

Ya kara da cewa “Daga yanzu hukuncin kisa ba ya daga cikin dokokinmu.”

Kimanin kasashe 170 ne suka gabatar da matakin dakatar da hukuncin kisa ya zuwa yanzu, a cewar Majalisar Dinkin Duniya.

Sai dai har yanzu hukuncin doka ne a kasashe sama da 50 da suka hada da Amurka, China, Saudiyya da Koriya ta Arewa.

Ghana, ita ce kasa ta 29 a nahiyar Afrika da ta soke hukuncin, inda ta bi sahun kasashen Chadi, Burkina Faso, Equatorial Guinea da Zambiya, da dai sauransu.

Ya zuwa ranar Litinin, Ghana na da maza 172 da mata shida da aka yanke musu hukuncin kisa, a cewar Ma’aikatar Gidan Yarin Kasar, daga cikin jimillar fursunonin da take da su sama da 15,000.

Sai dai ba a aiwatar da hukuncin kisa a kasar ba tun 1993.
