DSS ta gurfanar da Emefiele kan sabbin laifuka 20

Hukumar tsaro ta DSS ta janye zargin mallakar haramtattun makamai da take wa dakataccen Gwamnan Babban Bankin Najeriya (CBN), Godwin Emefiele, a gaban Babbar Kotun Tarayya .

Hukumar ta kuma gabatar wa kotun da ke zanta a Legas sabbin tuhume-tuhume guda 20 da take masa a ci gaban zaman kotun na ranar Talata.

A ci gaban zaman kotun na ranar Talata, lauyan Gwamnatin Tarayya, Bakodo Abubakar, ya shaida wa alkalin cewa sabin tuhume-tuhumen sun bullo ne bayan zurfa bincike da hukumar DSS ta yi kan Emefiele.

Sai dai lauyan wanda ake zargin, Joseph Daudu, ya kalubalance shi da cewa gwamnati ta raina umarnin kotu kan belinsa da alkali ya bayar, don haka bai kamata a kotu ta saurari bukatar bangaren gwamnatin ba.

Lauyan gwamnatin da DSS ya bayyana wa ‘yan jarida bayan zaman kotun cewa an shigar da sabbin tuhume-tuhumen ne a gaban Babbar Kotun da ke Abuja.

Ya kara da cewa daga cikin laifukan da ake tuhumar Emefiele akwai batun bayar da fifiko da ya saba ka’ida.

A ranar 9 ga watan Yuni Shugaban Kasa Bola Ahmed Tinubu ya dakatar da Emefiele tare da ba da umarnin a gudanar da bincike kan zarge-zargen da ake masa, inda daga bisani hukumar DSS ta tsare shi.

Bayan dakatar da shi ne Tinubu ya kafa kwamitin binciken CBN, wanda ana cikin gudanar da shi bankin ya fitar da rahotonsa na kudade da ya nuna kamfanonin JP Morgan da Goldman Sachs na bin bankin bashin Dala biliyan 7.5 zuwa ranar karshe ta shekarar 2022.

A ranar 25 ga watan Yuli alkalin kotun, Mai Shari’a Nicholas Oweibo, ya ba da belin Emefele kan Naira miliyan 20 da mutum biyu masu tsaya masa, kan mallakar makamai ba bisa ka’ida ba a gidansa da ke Legas, ya kuma sa a tsare shi a gidan yari sai ya cika sharudan belin.

Kafin tafiya da shi gidan yari ne jami’an DSS suka nuna musu fin karfi suka kwace shi suka tafi da shi, lamarin da ya jawo ka-ce-na-ce.
