In a chat with our reporter on Monday afternoon, a resident, Hassan Yusuf, said, “They were my neighbours. It hasn’t been long since they moved in here. Nobody can explain what happened. The bodies were discovered by their sister who stays at Dei-Dei. She said she tried reaching them to no avail.

“When she came on Sunday around 7am, she knocked but there was no response. She peeped through the window and saw that they were inside. That was when she involved the landlord and the door was forced opened. The bodies were found with no injuries.”

The landlord, who simply gave his name as John, said that the relatives of the deceased had evacuated their corpses for burial.

City & Crime learnt that the matter has not been reported to the police.
