Adamawa: As TAG Wins -Time For Unity, Synergy & Reconciliation

In every primary or secondary election, only one person eventually emerges victorious. However, in every political party primary election, all contestants, including those who willingly stepped down or made sacrifices for the collective interest of the party, are winners in their own right.

This is because party primaries are not fierce political contests; they are strategic democratic exercises that test a party’s internal strength, organisational depth, political maturity, conflict-management mechanisms, loyalty structures, and ability to accommodate diverse interests under one umbrella.

A strong political party is not measured only by who wins its primaries, but by how it manages differences, reconciles interests, absorbs political tensions, and unites immediately after internal contests. This is where great parties distinguish themselves from weak and fragmented ones.

Ahmed Tijjani Galadima has, through the will of God and the overwhelming support of the masses, emerged as the APC flag bearer for the 2027 Adamawa Governorship election. His emergence is not just a personal victory; it is a huge responsibility placed upon his shoulders and that of the entire APC family in Adamawa State. Expectations are naturally high, and the task ahead requires wisdom, patience, sacrifice, strategic thinking, and collective commitment from every stakeholder within the party.

TAG convincingly polled 414,444 votes across the 226 wards of Adamawa State during the Governorship primaries, a strong indication of his growing acceptability, grassroots connection, and the reward of gentility, focus, consistency, and an inclusive political posture. The outcome reflects not only political popularity, but also the confidence many party members and supporters have in his leadership style and ability to unite people across different interests and backgrounds.

Such overwhelming support sends a strong political message ahead of the 2027 general election. It demonstrates that the APC remains a formidable political force in Adamawa State and that the party possesses the grassroots structures, mobilisation strength, and political momentum required to compete strongly in 2027. Going by the current realities and the unity gradually being built within the party, many supporters strongly believe that TAG has the political capacity to secure victory in the general election with a landslide margin.

Now is the time for healing, reconciliation, bridge-building, synergy, and political consolidation. Elections may create temporary camps, alignments, and emotional divisions, but the larger objective must always remain the collective success of the party and the future of Adamawa State. The APC can only become stronger when every stakeholder, support group, youth wing, women’s structure, elders’ forum, grassroots mobiliser, and political bloc sees itself as part of one united family working towards a common destiny. This moment demands unity of purpose; all for one, and one for all.

Tijjani Galadima is widely known as a calm, humble, and accommodating gentleman. He listens attentively, values teamwork, and understands the importance of harnessing knowledge, political experience, manpower, resources, and collective wisdom for the advancement of the party. Leadership is not about isolation; it is about inclusion, consultation, and the ability to unite people with different strengths and perspectives under one common vision.

Every contestant in the race, including those who voluntarily withdrew from the contest, possesses political value, influence, grassroots structures, and strategic capacity capable of strengthening the APC ahead of the 2027 general elections. Their contributions, sacrifices, networks, and political investments remain highly important and indispensable to the success of the party.

No serious political movement succeeds by abandoning experienced stakeholders after primaries. Victory is usually achieved when all interests are harmonised and every political family feels respected, recognised, and carried along.

With the leadership and political guidance of Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, the APC will undoubtedly work towards bringing everyone on board in order to secure victory across all levels, from the State Assembly to the House of Representatives, Senate, Governorship, and the Presidency. Political inclusion, mutual respect, and strategic cooperation will remain critical in building the momentum required for total victory.

Political party primary elections naturally come with storms, disagreements, tensions, and intense competition. But after every storm comes stability, understanding, and realignment, that is the true nature of politics and leadership contests across the world. The strength of a party is not in avoiding disagreements, but in its ability to reunite stronger after moments of intense competition.

The APC family in Adamawa State will surely reunite, consolidate its structures, strengthen internal harmony, and mobilise collectively to deliver TAG and all APC flag bearers across every elective position in the state.

The journey ahead is bigger than individuals, personal ambitions, or temporary political differences. It is about building a stronger party, securing electoral victory, and shaping the future of Adamawa State together.

Once again Congratulations to TAG
