Adamawa state governor, Ahmadu Fintiri
The administration of Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, through the Adamawa State Primary Health Care Development Agency (SPHCDA) and with the support of the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF), has commenced the revitalisation and upgrading of key primary healthcare facilities across the state.
Among the facilities undergoing upgrade are the Michika Town Clinic in Michika Local Government Area and the Boga Health Clinic in Gombi Local Government Area. The intervention also extends to other health clinics across the 21 local government areas of Adamawa State.
The project forms part of the state government’s ongoing commitment to strengthening rural and community healthcare delivery, particularly at the primary healthcare level.
Officials say the revitalisation will improve infrastructure, service delivery and access to quality healthcare for residents, especially women and children in underserved communities.
