Senator Umaru Tanko Al-Makura (Nasarawa South), has felicitated with the Andoma of Doma, His Royal Highness, Alhaji Ahmadu Aliyu Ogah Onawo, as he clocked 18 years on the throne.
He also congratulated the Osoho of Olosoho (Agwatashi), Dr Umar Abubakar Apeshi, on his 13th anniversary on the throne.

Al-Makura, in a statement by his media aide, Danjuma Joseph, described the two revered royal fathers as “patient leaders” and true custodians of the traditional values of the Alago people.
According to him, they are embodiment of royalty and objectivity, full of wisdom.
The former governor of Nasarawa State thanked the monarchs for maintaining peace, stability and unity in their various domains, urging them to sustain the tempo.
“My prayers for you as you celebrate is that God Almighty will continue to bestow on you long life and wisdom to serve Alago nation, Nasarawa State and indeed Nigeria at large,” he said.
