Governor Rotimi Akeredolu of Ondo State
The Oodua Peoples Congress (OPC) has scored Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu of Ondo State high in the area of providing secured and peaceful environments across the 18 local government areas of the state.
The Yoruba regional freedom agitation group led by the Aare Onakakanfo of Yorubaland, Iba Abiodun Gani Adams, in its New Year message to the governor, the government and the people of the state, commended the governor for his bold, fearless and courageous actions that were taken towards securing lives and property of residents of the state through the instrumentality of the Western Security Network (WSN), codenamed Amotekun.
The statement signed by the acting Coordinator of OPC in Ondo State, Comrade Nafiu Sarafa, and made available to newsmen in Akure on Friday, described the Amotekun Corps as the most valuable feat achieved by Akeredolu in his five years as governor.
