FCT community pharmacists seek soft loans to boost services

The Association of Community Pharmacists of Nigeria (ACPN), Federal Capital Territory (FCT) chapter, has called on the federal government to provide low-interest loans and other funding models to its members to boost their services.

The newly elected chairman of the association, Pharm. Aloba Olatunji Isaac, made the plea on Tuesday in Abuja during the inauguration of new executives of the association.

He said doing providing such funding will help in creating jobs and make medicines more affordable for Nigerians.Pharm. Aloba said community pharmacies provide jobs for many youths in the country, adding that when the community pharmacies are empowered, they further create jobs and empower others.
