The Nigeria Medical Association, Federal Capital Territory (NMA-FCT), has commended its members for their perseverance and urged them to remain steadfast in the face of challenges.
FCT chairman of the NMA, Mr Emeka Ayogu, made the appeal at a dinner and awards held on Saturday in Abuja to conclude the chapter’s 2025 Annual General Meeting and Scientific Conference.
Ayogu noted that members of the association had continued to persevere in spite of disadvantages, particularly regarding their welfare, and encouraged them to sustain their resilience.
“First of all, I want to thank doctors for their perseverance. There are doctors in Nigeria who appear to be very disadvantaged. I have told you before how doctors are treated in this country. (NAN)

“Our doctors must have hope in God, have faith in God; hope that things are going to get better. Let’s hope that tomorrow there’s hope for us. We must embrace the current situation and keep on praying.’’ (NAN)
