The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) has announced the schedule for its geopolitical zonal congresses, which are set to take place on August 25 and 26, 2025.
Josephine Itoyah-Splendor, the state PDP Publicity Secretary, shared the news during a press briefing at the party’s secretariat in Abuja on Wednesday. She stated that the state PDP Chairman, Alhaji Ismaila Mohammed Yenche, approved the timetable and guidelines for the congress.

He urged that the congresses be completed promptly to allow the geopolitical zones to participate in the party’s mobilization efforts for the new INEC voters’ registration exercise.
She said sales of forms for the congress will run from August 11 to August 15, 2025 and advised all interested candidates to contact their respective geopolitical zone leaders for more information.
