The newly appointed Acting Head of Service of the Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA), Mrs. Nancy Sabanti Nathan, has pledged sweeping reforms in the FCT civil service to strengthen professionalism, staff welfare, and service delivery.
The announcement was contained in a press release issued by the FCTA, which confirmed her appointment and quoted Mrs. Nathan as aligning her vision with the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Mrs. Nathan described the civil service as an institution governed by rules and regulations, stressing her determination to uphold transparency, accountability, and teamwork.
She emphasized that staff training would be her top priority, noting: “The training of staff will be my priority, as it equips civil servants to effectively deliver on the mandate entrusted to them. The present FCT Minister has shown passion and love for his staff, who are the foot soldiers behind today’s celebrated successes, and I am committed to consolidating these gains.”

Mrs. Nathan also expressed deep appreciation to the FCT Minister, Barrister Nyesom Wike, and Minister of State, Dr. Mariya Mahmoud Tijjani, for their confidence in her.
She further commiserated with the family of the late Head of Service, Pastor Grace Adayilo, whom she described as a mentor and elder sister.
