The administration of Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri has recorded what many observers describe as an unprecedented achievement in the healthcare sector in Adamawa State.
Through the Adamawa State Primary Health Care Development Agency, the state government has constructed, remodeled, and fully equipped a total of 111 Primary Healthcare Centres across the state’s 21 Local Government Areas.
According to the Executive Chairman ADSPHCDA Dr. Sulaiman Saidu Bashir the intervention represents an average of five to seven healthcare centres per local government, significantly improving access to primary healthcare services for communities, particularly in rural areas.
The initiative is part of the Fintiri administration’s broader effort to strengthen the state’s healthcare system, enhance service delivery, and ensure that residents have closer access to essential medical services.
