Governor Dauda Lawal has approved the release of funds for the payment of gratuities for retired civil servants under Batch 3 (2024/2025).

The Commissioner for Information, Mahmud Dantawasa, said the move reflects the administration’s commitment to the welfare of retirees.

He said the Accountant-General has commenced processes to ensure prompt payment to beneficiaries.

“This timely payment of gratuity is a testament to the governor’s commitment to recognising the contributions of retirees,” Dantawasa said.
