Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri of Adamawa State received the National Security Adviser (NSA), Mallam Nuhu Ribadu, at the Government House, Yola, on Tuesday.
Accompanying the NSA were the Director General of the Department of State Services (DSS), the Director General of the National Intelligence Agency (NIA), and the Chief of Defence Intelligence.
The high-level delegation was welcomed by the Governor during a courtesy visit to his office.
While details of the meeting were not immediately disclosed, the visit is seen as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen security coordination and intelligence sharing across the country, with Adamawa State playing a strategic role in the northeastern region.
The Governor described the visit as an honour and expressed appreciation for the commitment of the federal security leadership to peace and stability in the state.
