The good news to this year’s candidate is that they would not need a scratch card to check their result.
The Result Checker PIN and Serial Number required by candidates to check their results online are contained on the Candidate’s Smart Identity Card used during the conduct of the examination.
Below is a guide on how to check your WAEC result.
1. Log onto the WAEC result checking portal, www.waecdirect.org
2. Key in your 10-digit WAEC Examination Number. The examination number include the candidate’s 7-digit centre number as well as 3-digit candidate number eg.1234567890
3. Key in your examination year eg. 2021
4. Select the type of examination. For this purpose, candidates are expected to click WAEC.
5. Key in the e-PIN Voucher Number
6. Key in the Personal Identification Number (PIN) on your e-PIN, ensure the correct figures are keyed in.
7. Click the submit icon and wait for the results window to pop up.
Certificates of candidates whose results have been fully processed and released will be ready within the next 90 days, counting from November 23, 2021.
