The police at Ikorodu in Lagos State have arrested a 29-year-old man, Isaac Adediran, for defiling his neighbour’s nine-year-old daughter.
The suspect was arrested following a complaint by the mother of the girl.

The mother reported that on Sunday, September 10, around 5am, her nine-year-old daughter, complained of having stomach pains and that when she checked to see what was wrong with her she discovered that she was discharging fluid from her private part.
She told the police that on enquiry, her daughter told her that the suspect lured her to his room where he had sex with her.
Lagos State command’s spokesman, Benjamin Hundeyin, said, “The suspect has been arrested. Investigation is in progress and the case has been transferred to the gender section at the command’s headquarters.”
