Operatives of the Delta State Police Command have arrested two suspected armed robbers during a robbery operation.
The suspects, identified as Thywill Selvin (22) of Poly Road, Ogwashi-Ukwu, and Guntim Bako (32) of Kwale junction, were apprehended by police in collaboration with local vigilantes.
The command’s spokesperson, Bright Edafe, said the police received a report about an armed robbery on Chelsea Street in Ogwashi-Ukwu.
He said Anti-Crime Squad and local vigilante groups were immediately dispatched to the scene.

‘’Upon seeing the police, the robbers attempted to escape, but two of them were arrested while the others got away,’’ he added.
