Aminu Ahmad Babayo, the community’s leader, said the development was worrisome.

He said that on several occasions on the night corpses were buried, that day or subsequent days, graves would be tampered with.

He said, “In some cases, when the corpses are exhumed, body parts would be removed, and in some other cases, the graves would be dug and something inserted in them, possibly for ritual purposes.”

He added that people should fear Allah as everyone would account for their actions hereafter.
