The death of Fuji House Of Commotion star, Sola Onayiga fondly known as “Kitchen Practical” was announced on Monday.

Onayiga who was also famed for the portrayal of her role as Ireti, in the defunct television, Checkmate, battled with an illness and was admitted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at a Lagos hospital about two weeks ago.

— Sola Onayiga hails from Ife, Osun State, the western part of Nigeria.

— The Fuji House of Commotion actress worked with the Federal Capital Development Authority (FCDA), after completing her secondary school.

— She spent two years as a student at the National Institute of Internal Auditors before leaving to study Theatre Art at the University of Ife.

— Onayiga performed in Fred Agbeyegbe’s The King Must Dance Naked as her first professional gig.

— The famed actress appeared in Checkmate and several Nollywood films as well as the sitcom, Fuji House of Commotion.

— Sola Onayagi ventured into politics in 2015. She was the Social Democratic Party (SDP) candidate for the Lagos State House of Assembly Ikorodu Constituency 1.

— She is popularly known for her role as Ireti or Kitchen Practical in the popular TV series, Fuji House of Commotion.
