The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has announced the temporary shutdown of its results checker portal due to technical glitches.
The examination body had on Monday released the results of candidates who sat for the 2025 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE).
However, in a statement posted on its official X handle, WAEC said candidates would not be able to access their results for now due to a technical issue.
“WAEC hereby informs the general public that the result checker portal @waecdirect.org is temporarily shut down due to technical issues.

“However, the Council is working assiduously to ensure that candidates are able to access their results in the next 24 hours. We apologise for any inconvenience this might have caused you,” the statement said.
