Partnership for Peace and Community Development, a Civil Society Organisation (CSO) aimed at promoting peace, has called on Kano residents to embrace peace and not allow a repeat of post-EndSARS violence that rocked the country.
Leader of the CSO, Comrade Aliyu Wali, said the organisation has perfected plans to have town hall meetings in all the five emirate councils in the state, to engage traditional institutions and other opinion leaders because they are closer to the people, where he said they would emphasise on the concept of “Know Your Neighbours”.

Wali said in the organisation’s earlier engagement with the state governor, it was discovered that lack of youth engagement was contributory to youth restiveness, which could threaten the peace of the state.
He said the governor had directed the state ministry of youth to set up a committee to advise the government on how to set up Kano Youth Investment Funds.
